The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it can be alarmed with regard to the high amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the sassa lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The service level developed for intervention experiences website a high inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
