Who Qualifies For Your Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.
Applications at the moment are open and will close on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to meet the subsequent requirements:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a house using a combined gross domestic earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined home revenue does not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and wish not submit any proof of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent residents from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to offer the right Identification Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected of their South African ID.
NSFAS click here only funds individuals who are researching or intend to study at a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to click here study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
